Tourism Tasmania Asia Mission 2018
With collaboration with Modellscape Studio, Singapore, we have planned, managed, coordinated and hosted the event in Malaysia. The overall display setup theme revolves around Tasmania’s iconic elements.
Tourism Tasmania held its Asia Mission 2018 from 17-21 September, with 15 key Tasmanian tourism businesses participating in the event.
The goal of the mission was to increase awareness of Tasmania and secure business from these important Asian markets. The mission was highly successful in building on the success of previous events, establishing new relationships and building upon existing ones.
Accompanied by Tasmanian Premier, Will Hodgman, Tourism Tasmania hosted events in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.
The mission enjoyed strong attendance from industry buyers and partners with 55 buyers attending in Shanghai, 59 in Hong Kong (including 16 from Southern China), 51 in Kuala Lumpur and 45 in Singapore.
